From the Elders

We wanted to let you know that you are loved, missed and we wish we could all be back together worshiping God in one place.  The elders have visited about when and what that will look like.  Before we open, we are required to file paperwork with the city to meet their guidelines.  Right now we have a 25% capacity for our building.  We anticipate that changing over time.  We believe that would be between 35 and 40 people in the building at one time.  Below is what we are planning.

Plan of Implementation

  • Our first service will be on June 7 at 10:00.

  • We will continue to share the service on Facebook live.

  • There will be no 9:00 class.

  • We encourage everyone to wear a mask into the building and when leaving the building but it is not required.

  • When you enter, there will be someone wearing a mask and gloves to hand out the individual containers for the Lord’s Supper.

  • There will be a box in the back for you to drop your contribution in.

  • We will have specific rows that are available to sit in.

  • We encourage no more than 4 in a row unless it is a family.

  • Once seated, if you wear a mask you are welcome to take it off but that is optional.

  • Our Wednesday service will remain on Facebook Live at 7:00.

  • We encourage everyone to practice the social distancing practices.

  • Each week the building will be cleaned.

  • One more thing...

We understand that there will be some who will choose to stay home after we begin meeting face to face so, for a period of time, we will continue to use Facebook. Over the next week Joe, Ted, Chet or I will reach out and see what your plans are for coming together. As we have a limit on how many can be at the building at one time we may plan for the future with specific life groups on a given week or possibly a second service.

We look forward to the time when we can all be together to praise God.
